Marcin Budkowski Appointed as Cadillac's F1 Team Principal
Cadillac has appointed Marcin Budkowski as its new Formula 1 team principal, replacing Graeme Lowdon, in a surprising move announced on Wednesday during the summer break of its inaugural F1 season.
Budkowski revealed that he had discussions with more than half of the teams in the Formula 1 grid before deciding to join Cadillac. The team currently sits at the bottom of the championship standings without any points after 11 races.
Budkowski, who has extensive experience in F1, expressed confidence in Cadillac's ambitious project, which is supported by the TWG Group and General Motors. He emphasized the importance of working with a team that understands the challenges of motorsport and shares a similar vision for development.
