Marco Bezzecchi Discusses Recovery After Silverstone Lap Record

Marco Bezzecchi recently broke the all-time circuit record at Silverstone during practice for the British Grand Prix, despite facing significant physical challenges from injuries sustained in a crash last month.

Before the event, Bezzecchi had doubts about his performance due to a collarbone and knee injury. However, he managed to achieve a remarkable lap time of 1m56.280s, placing him at the top of the practice session. Despite this success, he acknowledged ongoing struggles with his physical condition, particularly during longer runs on the track.

Bezzecchi underwent surgery on his knee and collarbone during the summer break, and he described the recovery process as difficult. He expressed frustration with his injuries, noting that both pain and mobility issues persist. Although he started strong at Silverstone, he tempered expectations for the races ahead, focusing on recovery and support from his team.
