Marco Bezzecchi Faces Challenges from Knee Injury Ahead of Aragon Grand Prix

Marco Bezzecchi is preparing for the Aragon Grand Prix while dealing with a persistent knee injury that he sustained during a crash at the Sachsenring. Although he has made progress in his recovery, he noted that fluid accumulation in his knee could lead to difficulties during the race.

Bezzecchi, who rides for the factory Aprilia team, suffered a broken collarbone and knee injury in a highside incident at the German Grand Prix nearly two months ago. The summer break allowed him to undergo surgery without missing races, but he is still not fully healed as he approaches the upcoming event at MotorLand Aragon.

Despite competing under challenging conditions, Bezzecchi managed to secure a double podium finish at Silverstone, which helped him regain second place in the championship standings. However, he anticipates a tougher competition at Aragon, particularly from Ducati riders, and acknowledges that he will need to endure pain while racing.
