Marco Bezzecchi Secures Pole Position at MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix
Marco Bezzecchi claimed pole position for the MotoGP Aragon Grand Prix, outperforming Marc Marquez by just under a tenth of a second. Despite recovering from injuries sustained in a crash earlier this year, Bezzecchi set a remarkable time of 1m44.962s during the qualifying session.
Marquez initially set a new circuit record with a time of 1m45.136s but fell short after making a mistake on his final lap. His brother, Alex Marquez, qualified in third place. Bezzecchi's performance marks his first pole since the Italian Grand Prix in May, showcasing his strong comeback.
Raul Fernandez qualified fourth, followed by Jorge Martin in fifth. KTM's Pedro Acosta managed to secure sixth despite a crash late in the session. Other notable qualifiers included Fabio di Giannantonio in seventh and Francesco Bagnaia in eighth.
