Marco Bezzecchi Wins Indonesian Grand Prix; Jorge Martin Regains Championship Lead

Marco Bezzecchi secured victory at the Indonesian Grand Prix held at the Mandalika International Circuit, while Jorge Martin finished in third place, regaining the lead in the MotoGP world championship from Marc Marquez.

Bezzecchi overtook pole-sitter Raul Fernandez with nine laps remaining, ultimately finishing ahead of Fernandez, who took second, and Martin, who completed the podium for the Aprilia team. Marquez, the reigning seven-time world champion, finished sixth after previously leading the championship.

Fernandez had a challenging race, having sustained a finger injury during the sprint race on Saturday. The championship standings now see Martin leading with 355 points, followed closely by Marquez with 353 points and Bezzecchi at 309 points. The next race is scheduled for the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island in two weeks.
