Marco Penge Reflects on Challenging PGA Tour Debut and Future Prospects

Marco Penge, a three-time DP World Tour winner, faced a challenging debut season on the PGA Tour, struggling with health issues including a viral attack and recurring vertigo. The 28-year-old English golfer, who had a successful 2025 season with three wins on the European Tour, found his performance significantly hindered after relocating to the US and welcoming his second child.

Penge described his debut season as a nightmare and acknowledged that starting the season was not a wise decision given his circumstances. After taking a six-week break to focus on family, he returned to the sport with renewed energy and positive signs of improvement.

Despite not securing any wins this season, Penge believes he has developed as a player, noting that competing in America has sharpened his skills. His best finish this season was tied for fourth at the Valspar Championship, and he achieved a tied for 18th finish at the Open Championship, marking his best major performance to date. As he prepares for the British Masters, Penge aims to demonstrate his growth and potential on the course.
