Marcus Davenport Meets with Chicago Bears

Free agent defensive end Marcus Davenport recently visited the Chicago Bears as he searches for a team for the 2026 NFL season.

Davenport has played the last three seasons with teams in the NFC North, including the Lions and Vikings. His time with the Lions was marred by injuries, limiting him to just 10 games over the last two seasons due to a torn triceps and a chest injury. He also faced an ankle injury that kept him out for most of the 2023 season with the Vikings.

Originally a first-round pick in 2018 by the New Orleans Saints, Davenport has recorded 165 tackles, 25 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery across 63 career games.
