Independent wrestling star Marcus Mathers announced his departure from the WWE ID program on social media on Friday, following the earlier exit of former WWE ID Women's Champion Laynie Luck.

Mathers stated that his time with WWE ID had concluded after two years, which he described as incredible, expressing gratitude for the knowledge and friendships he gained. He mentioned that he is ready for his next chapter and is eager to compete.

He highlighted upcoming matches, including a bout against Amazing Red for the Crown Jewel Championship at House of Glory and a match against Nick Gage. Mathers recently wrestled Conan Lycan in a dark match before WWE NXT and has participated in various promotions, holding multiple titles in his independent career.
