Maresca Highlights Positive Atmosphere in Manchester City Camp Ahead of Liverpool Clash

Enzo Maresca noted a strong sense of positivity within the Manchester City squad as they gear up to face Liverpool, marking their first match since being found guilty of 114 financial rule breaches by the Premier League.

The Premier League announced on September 29 that an independent commission ruled in favor of the majority of charges against City, which included creating false contracts to inflate revenue and reduce costs by over £900 million from the 2009-10 to 2017-18 seasons.

Despite the challenges, Maresca emphasized that the players are focused on their performance and are excited about their current position at the top of the league. They are preparing for a challenging atmosphere at Anfield, where they will face a passionate Liverpool crowd, but remain committed to their goal of winning the match.
