Mariners Sign Hoby Milner and Promote Lazaro Montes

The Seattle Mariners have made several roster moves as part of their September call-ups, including the promotion of top outfield prospect Lazaro Montes.

In addition to Montes, the team signed left-handed pitcher Hoby Milner to a minor league contract after his release from the Cubs and quickly added him to the major league roster. To accommodate these changes, first baseman/outfielder Connor Joe and right-handed pitcher Nolan Kingham were designated for assignment.
