During a countdown show for SummerSlam, Henry shared his insights on a match, further fueling fan speculation about his return. However, he clarified in an interview with ITR Wrestling that he does not have a legends deal with WWE and only participates in WWE Radio through SiriusXM.

Henry explained that he has a nostalgia deal allowing WWE to use his name for merchandise, but he does not have an employment relationship with the company. He also mentioned his ongoing role in scouting new talent and providing guidance to wrestlers, emphasizing his commitment to supporting the wrestling industry without seeking compensation.
