Marko Advocates for Verstappen's Continued Partnership with Red Bull
Dr. Helmut Marko has stated that Max Verstappen should remain with Red Bull, citing the team's recent advancements as a source of confidence. Marko, who retired from his role as motorsport advisor at the end of last year, continues to follow the team's progress closely.
Marko acknowledged that Red Bull's start to the season was challenging but noted that the team is improving. He emphasized the significance of Verstappen's role within the team, suggesting that continued cooperation would benefit both parties. Marko also mentioned the importance of timely communication regarding Verstappen's future.
In addition to discussing Verstappen, Marko praised the performance of Red Bull's younger drivers, particularly Isack Hadjar, who has shown impressive qualifying results. He also highlighted the potential of Arvid Lindblad and Nikola Tsolov, the latter of whom is expected to advance to Formula 2 in 2027. Despite an open invitation from Red Bull to return, Marko expressed no immediate interest in rejoining the paddock, stating he is content with his current life.
