Marlon Moraes Set to Return to MMA After Three-Year Hiatus

Marlon Moraes is scheduled to return to mixed martial arts on August 28, marking his first fight in over three years. He will compete against Maximiliano Perez at the LMC 2 event.

Previously, Moraes announced his retirement in 2023 and shifted to a career in law enforcement. However, he began planning a comeback for 2024 after signing with GFL, although the promotion's events were later canceled.

Since his last victory in December 2019, Moraes has faced a challenging period, suffering seven consecutive losses across various promotions, including four in the UFC and three in the PFL.
