Martin O'Neill Comments on Rangers' Ticket Allocation for Celtic Match

Martin O'Neill has expressed dissatisfaction with Rangers' decision to allocate only 300 tickets to Celtic for their League Cup quarter-final at Ibrox next month. This announcement came shortly after the Scottish FA mandated that both clubs must play their next Scottish Cup home games without fans due to previous crowd disturbances.

O'Neill remarked that with such a limited allocation, it might be preferable for Celtic not to receive any tickets at all. He emphasized the significance of the fixture, noting that the atmosphere is greatly enhanced when away fans are present. Following a recent 2-1 victory over Falkirk, O'Neill acknowledged the mixed feelings among fans regarding Celtic's Champions League exit.

Despite the challenges, O'Neill remains hopeful about strengthening the squad before the transfer deadline, citing the need for more depth to compete effectively in both domestic and European competitions.
