Marvin Harrison Jr. Debuts with Texans, Records First Catches
Marvin Harrison Jr., the wide receiver, made his debut for the Houston Texans during a game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in England on Sunday.
Harrison, who was traded from the Arizona Cardinals last week, caught his first pass in the second quarter for 14 yards from quarterback C.J. Stroud. He added another reception for 15 yards in the third quarter, bringing his total to three catches on four targets for 34 yards.
Stroud praised Harrison's talent and work ethic, highlighting their previous connection from their time at Ohio State. Harrison had been inactive for the previous game with the Cardinals, where he struggled to meet expectations, totaling 108 receptions, 1,578 receiving yards, and 13 touchdowns over 33 games prior to this week.
