Marvin Harrison Jr. Trade to Texans Official After Passing Physical
The trade sending Marvin Harrison Jr. from the Cardinals to the Texans was finalized on Monday after the receiver successfully passed his physical examination.
Head coach DeMeco Ryans expressed enthusiasm about adding Harrison to the team, highlighting his impressive college record and previous rapport with quarterback C.J. Stroud from their time at Ohio State. Ryans emphasized Harrison's strong work ethic, noting that he is not concerned about the receiver adapting to the new offensive scheme.
Harrison, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2024 draft, has had a mixed start to his professional career, with 62 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie, followed by 41 catches for 608 yards and four touchdowns in the previous season. This year, he recorded five receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown in four games before the trade.
