Marvin Harrison Jr. Traded to Texans After Two Seasons with Cardinals
Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has been traded by the Arizona Cardinals to the Houston Texans, as confirmed by Houston's head coach DeMeco Ryans. Harrison, who was selected fourth overall in the 2024 draft, is moving to Houston along with a 2027 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2027 second-round and sixth-round pick.
In his first two seasons, Harrison recorded just five receptions for 85 yards this year, following a decline from 885 yards in his rookie season to 608 yards last year. His performance has not met the expectations set by his successful college career at Ohio State.
Harrison joins a select group of only four other top-5 picks traded before their fourth season in the last decade. Historically, many of these players have struggled to find success after their trades. The Texans recently secured their first win of the season against the Tennessee Titans and will face the Jacksonville Jaguars next week.
