Mason Rudolph Expresses Relief Over Myles Garrett's Departure from AFC North

Mason Rudolph, the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, has expressed his relief regarding Myles Garrett's recent trade from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams. The two players became infamous in NFL history due to an incident on November 14, 2019, when Garrett struck Rudolph with his helmet during a game.

Rudolph, who returned to the Steelers after a year with the Titans, conveyed his happiness about Garrett's exit from the division during an appearance on teammate Cam Heyward's podcast. He noted that the entire team, including coach Mike McCarthy and offensive coordinator Brian Angelichio, shares this sentiment, emphasizing that their offensive line is particularly pleased.

Looking ahead, Rudolph mentioned that if the season unfolds as expected, he would not face Garrett on the field, and the Steelers will not encounter Garrett again until at least 2026, unless both teams reach the Super Bowl.
