Matt Nagy Debuts with Giants, Evaluates Game Calling Locations

Matt Nagy, who previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Chiefs and head coach for the Bears, made his preseason debut with the Giants on Saturday. He is currently calling the game from the booth during the Week 1 matchup against the Vikings.

Nagy plans to evaluate his game-calling approach over the first two preseason games. He will transition to the sideline for the Week 2 game. Typically, he prefers working from the field, while the new coach John Harbaugh's offensive coordinators in Baltimore have operated from both the booth and the sideline.

Each location has its advantages; the booth offers a comprehensive view of the field, while the sideline facilitates easier communication with players. After the two preseason games, Nagy will determine his preferred position for the regular season.
