Mason Greenwood, the English striker for Fenerbahce, received a one-match suspended ban and a fine of 30,000 euros. Lyon's goalkeeping coach, Antonio Ferreira, was also penalized with a five-match ban for serious assault during the incident.
Guendouzi's actions included provoking spectators and violating conduct rules, while Greenwood was cited for similar violations. Both clubs were fined 50,000 euros for their teams' misconduct. The altercation escalated after Guendouzi celebrated Fenerbahce's win, which secured their progression to the league stage with a 3-2 aggregate score.
