Matthew Breetzke Joins South Africa Squad for Second Test Against Australia

South Africa has made a change to its squad for the second Test against Australia by including Matthew Breetzke, following a significant loss in the first Test. Breetzke replaces Tristan Stubbs, who had disappointing scores of 32 and one in Durban.

Wicketkeeper Kyle Verreynne remains part of the squad but will not keep wickets, as Ryan Rickelton is expected to take on that role. Breetzke and Marques Ackerman are anticipated to strengthen the top order in the upcoming match.

Breetzke previously made a century in the first ODI against Australia and has been noted for his competitive spirit, which has drawn attention from the Australian team. Despite limited experience in Test matches, he has excelled in ODIs with an impressive average. South Africa needs to avoid defeat in the second Test to keep the series alive, following a 214-run loss in the first match.
