Mavericks Players Sidelined Ahead of Preseason Game
Three players from the Dallas Mavericks were unable to participate in their second preseason game in Macao on Sunday due to injuries. The affected players include big men Santi Aldama and Dereck Lively II, as well as guard Marcus Sasser.
Santi Aldama is recovering from surgery on his right knee, while Dereck Lively II is dealing with a right foot injury. Lively, who is eligible for a rookie scale extension until October 19, has played only 43 games over the past two seasons, including seven last year. Head coach Dusty May provided a brief update on Lively, noting that he is progressing well and receiving regular treatment.
May mentioned that Lively is in good spirits and is actively working towards his return, emphasizing that he will have a significant impact on the team once he is back on the court.
