Max Garcia Claims First Indy NXT Victory at The Milwaukee Mile

Max Garcia achieved his first victory in the Indy NXT series at The Milwaukee Mile, starting from ninth position in the #12 Abel Motorsports car. The 17-year-old led for the final 37 laps after taking the lead when pole-sitter Josh Pierson crashed out of the race.

Garcia successfully defended against multiple late restarts, finishing the race with a margin of 0.9430 seconds ahead of JM Correa, who placed second, and Jack Beeton, who secured third. Max Taylor and Nikita Johnson rounded out the top five, with Johnson's performance shifting the championship standings in his favor.

The race featured several lead changes and cautions, particularly after Pierson's crash on Lap 54, which allowed Garcia to take control. Despite challenges from competitors, Garcia maintained his lead through the final laps, ultimately celebrating his maiden win in the series.
