Max Verstappen Comments on Bumpy Circuit Ahead of US Grand Prix
Max Verstappen has raised concerns about the rough track conditions at the Circuit of the Americas as he prepares for the United States Grand Prix this weekend.
The four-time Formula 1 champion, who recently achieved victories in Bahrain and Singapore, noted the challenges posed by the bumpy surface, joking that he might need to order a new spine after the race. He emphasized the need to approach each race individually, acknowledging the unique characteristics of the Austin track.
Verstappen observed the World Endurance Championship's recent event at COTA, which heightened his worries about the track's condition. He also mentioned the upcoming races in Mexico, where altitude and heat will present additional challenges for car performance. Currently, Verstappen is fourth in the drivers' standings, having narrowed the gap to his competitors in recent races.
