Max Verstappen Extends Contract with Red Bull Until 2030
Max Verstappen has confirmed his future in Formula 1 by signing a new contract with Red Bull Racing that extends until the end of 2030. This new agreement adds two years to his existing deal, which was set to expire in 2028.
Despite previous uncertainties regarding his commitment due to his dissatisfaction with the new generation of cars and interests in other motorsport disciplines, Red Bull was eager to secure the four-time world champion's services. The announcement coincided with the final Dutch Grand Prix of the season.
Verstappen, who joined Red Bull in 2016, expressed enthusiasm about continuing to work with the team and its new principal, Laurent Mekies. Mekies emphasized the significance of retaining Verstappen, highlighting their successful partnership and the ambition to achieve more victories and milestones together in the future.
