Max Verstappen Jokes About 'Shunt' Request During Karting Challenge
Max Verstappen, a four-time Formula 1 champion, humorously mentioned that he sought Red Bull's permission to 'shunt' his competitors during a karting challenge featuring 100 drivers at Silverstone.
In this event, Verstappen started from the back of the pack, aiming to overtake all participants. He shared this anecdote during a live stream, revealing that Red Bull advised against the tactic, stating it was not ideal.
The karting event, titled Max vs 100 and hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan, is set to be available for streaming on Disney+ starting September 16. The custom track was designed by David Terrien, a former karting world champion, and is noted for its unique capability to accommodate 100 drivers simultaneously.
