Max Verstappen Secures First Singapore GP Victory
Max Verstappen has claimed his first victory at the Singapore Grand Prix, ending a streak of near misses at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. This win marks his second consecutive grand prix victory this season.
Verstappen's success comes after a challenging triple-header that included races in Baku, Sepang, and Singapore. He finished second in the first race of the series but secured his first win of the season in Malaysia. Following a strong performance in the Singapore sprint race, where he also finished first, Verstappen continued his winning momentum.
Previously, Verstappen had finished second in Singapore in 2018, 2024, and 2025, but this victory allows him to complete his list of wins at active circuits, with only the Madring remaining. Following the race, he expressed satisfaction with the team's performance and the pace they maintained throughout the race. Despite some mechanical issues affecting teammate Isack Hadjar, Red Bull Racing is looking forward to continuing their success at the upcoming United States Grand Prix in Austin.
