Max Verstappen to Compete Against 100 Drivers in Unique Karting Event

Max Verstappen is set to participate in a karting event at Silverstone on September 16, where he will start behind 100 other drivers. This unique race, titled Max vs 100, will feature a total of 101 karts on a specially designed circuit.

The event, organized by Red Bull, Disney+, and ESPN, will see Verstappen, a four-time Formula 1 world champion, attempt to overtake the entire field, which includes Red Bull athletes, gaming personalities, media figures, and invited fans. The layout of the circuit is being managed by French racer and kart designer David Terrien.

While the event is primarily for entertainment rather than a competitive race, it presents a significant challenge for Verstappen, who must navigate through 100 slower karts. The broadcast will be hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan and will include live data, graphics, and drone footage. The race will be available for streaming on ESPN via Disney+, with varying availability across different markets.
