Maxx Crosby Affirms Commitment to Raiders Amid Trade Speculation
Maxx Crosby, a key pass-rusher for the Las Vegas Raiders, stated earlier this offseason that he never intended to leave the team, especially after a potential trade to the Baltimore Ravens fell through due to concerns about his knee.
ESPN's Adam Schefter discussed Crosby's future on The Pat McAfee Show, questioning whether Crosby would remain with the Raiders if the team's performance declines. He noted that if the Raiders struggle, other teams might pursue Crosby before the trade deadline.
As of now, the Raiders are among the teams with the lowest odds to win this season, and while Kirk Cousins is set to start as quarterback, he may face competition from rookie Fernando Mendoza. Despite a recent practice incident involving Crosby and Cousins, Schefter believes Crosby is committed to staying with the Raiders for the time being.
