Maya World Shares Childhood Wrestling Favorites

Maya World, a former AEW TBS Champion, has gained recognition in AEW recently, largely due to her performances against Athena and Mercedes Mone, who have inspired her wrestling journey.

In a recent interview, World disclosed that her earliest favorite wrestlers were Kelly Kelly and The Undertaker, highlighting her admiration for the entire Divas division during her childhood. She began watching Kelly Kelly when she debuted in WWE's ECW brand in 2006 and was particularly fond of her rise in 2011.

Kelly Kelly won the Divas Championship in June 2011 after defeating Brie Bella, holding the title until October of the same year. Although she left WWE in 2012, Kelly has made occasional appearances and reportedly signed a Legends Deal with WWE in 2025.
