Megan Davey Joins Wales' Training Squad for WXV Global Series

Megan Davey, a scrum-half, has been named in Wales' extended training squad for the upcoming WXV Global Series. The 26-year-old player, who holds the record for the most appearances at Loughborough Lightning, has participated in 124 matches since her debut.

Davey previously featured in the extended squad for the 2026 Six Nations and offers head coach Sean Lynn additional options at fly-half, having experience in both half-back roles. Wales will kick off their WXV campaign against South Africa at Cardiff Arms Park on September 18, with the final squad announcement expected in the coming weeks.
