The investigation reportedly began after images were discovered in his residence after he returned to the U.S. in May. Thomas Markle has denied the allegations, labeling them as falsehoods and expressing shock at the claims made by his son, Thomas Markle Jr.
In a statement, Meghan revealed that she was first informed of troubling allegations against her father by the Metropolitan Police in 2018. She emphasized that her decision to distance her children from him was made to ensure their safety and expressed hope that justice would be served for the protection of innocent children.
