Melbourne Appoints Daniel Jones as New High Performance Manager
Melbourne has appointed Daniel Jones as its new high performance manager, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles with Geelong and the Brooklyn Nets.
Jones has spent the last four seasons at Geelong, where he served as the lead athletic performance and senior strength and conditioning coach. Before that, he worked in the United States for nearly four years as the head of strength and conditioning for the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA. Additionally, he has six years of experience at North Melbourne in various conditioning and high performance roles.
Melbourne's chief of football, Ned Guy, expressed confidence in Jones' ability to enhance the club's performance, citing his impressive background in high-performance environments. The Demons are looking to build on their recent success after finishing seventh in the league and qualifying for the Wildcard Round under new coach Steven King.
