Melbourne Demons' List Boss Updates on Trade Prospects

Tim Lamb, the list boss for the Melbourne Demons, remains optimistic about finalizing a trade for forward Zane Duursma, despite ongoing negotiations with the North Melbourne Kangaroos. Duursma has expressed a desire to join the Demons, and Lamb indicated that multiple trade options have been proposed, although none have been confirmed yet.

Additionally, Will McLachlan has nominated the Demons as his preferred team after limited opportunities with the Brisbane Lions. Lamb mentioned that discussions regarding McLachlan's potential trade are set to take place soon.

Lamb also provided updates on Jack Viney and Trent Rivers, who are both considering moves to the West Coast Eagles. While Viney is still evaluating his options, Rivers has yet to make a decision about returning to Western Australia. The Demons currently hold Picks 6 and 10 in the upcoming National Draft, which Lamb expressed enthusiasm about, noting the club's strong draft position.
