Melbourne Supports Latrelle Pickett After Alcohol Incident
Melbourne Football Club has offered support to forward Latrelle Pickett following an alcohol-related incident that occurred after their Round 20 loss to Geelong.
Pickett reportedly consumed alcohol 48 hours after sustaining a concussion from an elbow by Lawson Humphries. The club emphasized the importance of his physical and mental well-being while also reaffirming professional standards.
After missing the trip to Gold Coast due to the concussion, Pickett was not selected for the match against Fremantle at the MCG and did not participate in the VFL as the Casey Demons had a bye. No sanctions have been imposed by the club, and Pickett is available for the upcoming game against Port Adelaide.
