Merson and Sherwood Predict Spurs Will Outperform Manchester United

Paul Merson and Tim Sherwood have both expressed their belief that Tottenham Hotspur will finish higher than Manchester United in the league standings. Merson, a former Arsenal player, described Manchester United as among the worst teams in the league.

The discussion comes amid ongoing challenges for Manchester United, including potential January transfer activity as indicated by manager Michael Carrick. Carrick has addressed various issues within the team, including player injuries and comments made by teammate Lisandro Martinez.

As Manchester United navigates these challenges, the focus remains on improving their performance and addressing squad needs ahead of the transfer window.
