Metro Service Disruption for Newcastle Airport Travelers

Travelers departing from Newcastle Airport should prepare for disruptions as the Metro service between the airport and South Gosforth will be suspended from August 15 to 23.

This closure is necessary for maintenance work on tracks, stations, and cabling, affecting services in both directions. During this period, a replacement bus service will operate frequently, stopping at or near all affected stations.

While other Metro services will continue to run, passengers are advised to check revised timetables and allow extra time for their journeys.
