Mexico Claims Bronze at Flag Football World Championships, Defeating Great Britain

In the bronze-medal game at the World Championships held in Dusseldorf, Germany, Great Britain's women's flag football team faced Mexico, ultimately losing 20-19 and missing the chance to qualify for the 2028 Olympics.

The match saw Great Britain, ranked third in the world, struggle initially, falling behind 13-0 after two interceptions led to a touchdown for Mexico. Despite a touchdown from Angelica Tait and two touchdowns from Emily Kemp, the tournament's leading scorer, GB could not secure the win.
