Miami Dolphins Activate WR Chris Bell from NFI List
The Miami Dolphins have officially activated wide receiver Chris Bell from the non-football injury list. This decision comes as Bell continues his recovery from a torn ACL that kept him sidelined during the pre-draft process and throughout the offseason.
At 22 years old, Bell was a three-star recruit from Yazoo City, Mississippi, and was ranked as the 124th receiver in the 2022 recruiting class. He played four seasons at Louisville, where he earned first-team All-ACC honors in his senior year. The Dolphins selected him with the 94th overall pick in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, signing him to a four-year rookie contract valued at approximately $6.77 million, which includes a signing bonus of $1.38 million.
During his collegiate career, Bell participated in 47 games, recording 151 receptions for 2,166 yards and 12 touchdowns.
