Miami Dolphins Evaluate Waiver Claims After Joe Milton's Release
The Miami Dolphins made significant moves by adding seven players to their 53-man roster through the waiver wire. General manager Jon-Eric Sullivan expressed surprise and satisfaction at the number of successful claims.
However, the recent release of quarterback Joe Milton by the Dallas Cowboys has prompted the Dolphins to reassess their decision to add QB Brady Cook. Milton, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound quarterback with notable arm strength, is now available for any team to claim.
Miami currently holds the 11th position in the waiver order, allowing them a chance to acquire Milton, who has more potential than Cook, despite Cook having more career pass attempts. The Dolphins will need to make a decision during the upcoming waiver claims process.
