Miami Dolphins Make Roster Change After Joint Practice with Giants

The Miami Dolphins have announced a roster change, claiming wide receiver Ryan Miller from the New York Giants after last week's joint practice. In a corresponding move, the Dolphins waived Tahj Washington, who had been a disappointing performer in recent games.

Washington, a 7th-round draft pick in 2024, made his NFL debut last season and recorded his first reception against the Baltimore Ravens, which ended in a fumble. His last play with the Dolphins was also a fumble during a game against the Giants. Miller, who stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 210 pounds, previously played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had his best season in 2024 with 12 receptions for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

This roster adjustment comes as the Dolphins prepare for their final preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons, where they will not have a joint practice.
