Miami Heat Waive Four Players Ahead of Regular Season
The Miami Heat have announced the waiving of four players, Ezra Ausar, Kylor Kelley, Gabe Madsen, and Bez Mbeng, as they prepare for the regular season.
All four were on Exhibit 10 contracts and are expected to join the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Heat's G League affiliate, where they can earn bonuses by meeting certain conditions. During the preseason, Mbeng participated in three games, Kelley in two, and Madsen in one, while Ausar did not play in the final preseason game against Orlando.
With these cuts, the Heat now have a 17-man roster, which includes 12 players with fully guaranteed contracts, one partially guaranteed deal, one non-guaranteed contract, and three two-way agreements. This roster configuration suggests that the current lineup will likely remain intact as the team heads into the regular season.
