Micah Parsons Achieves No. 8 Ranking in NFL's Top 100
Micah Parsons, a former linebacker for Penn State, has been recognized as the 8th best player in the NFL for 2026, according to an announcement made by the league on Wednesday.
This ranking marks the highest position Parsons has achieved in the top 100 list, following previous placements of No. 36 in 2025, No. 17 in 2024, No. 9 in 2023, and No. 16 in 2022. In the past season, he recorded 12.5 sacks and 41 tackles in 13 games for the Green Bay Packers before suffering a torn ACL.
Parsons, who was traded to the Packers from the Cowboys in 2025, has made history as the first NFL player to achieve at least a dozen sacks in each of his first five seasons. His career total of 65 sacks ranks fifth all-time for players in their first five seasons.
