Micah Parsons Likely Out for Packers vs. Cowboys Matchup
Micah Parsons, the star pass-rusher for the Green Bay Packers, is unlikely to play in the upcoming Week 6 game against the Dallas Cowboys on October 18. This update comes as the Packers prepare for the Sunday Night Football matchup.
According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Packers do not expect Parsons to return to practice before the game. He has been on the physically unable to perform list while recovering from a torn ACL sustained last December. Parsons, who was traded to Green Bay from Dallas in August 2025, signed a four-year contract worth $188 million, with $136 million guaranteed.
Parsons led the Packers with 12.5 sacks last season over 14 games. His absence is notable as the Packers face a strong Dallas offense, which ranks seventh in the league with an average of 27.6 points per game. While there is hope that Parsons could return later in October, his participation in the game against the Cowboys appears unlikely.
