Micah Parsons Reacts to Mike Evans' Incident with Trevon Diggs
Micah Parsons is approaching his return from injury and may play against the Dallas Cowboys this weekend. He reflected on an incident from a recent game between the Seattle Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers that left him upset.
During the game at Lumen Field, Seahawks linebacker Dre Greenlaw was ejected for a head butt. Parsons was particularly disturbed by wide receiver Mike Evans' actions towards cornerback Trevon Diggs, who was turned around to check his name plate. Parsons stated he would not have tolerated such disrespect and would have reacted aggressively to defend Diggs.
Evans later explained that he did not recognize Diggs while he was wearing his helmet. However, Parsons defended Diggs, emphasizing their past connection as teammates in Dallas and Green Bay. He criticized Evans' behavior, highlighting Diggs' status as an All-Pro player in 2021.
