Micah Parsons' Return to Packers Practice May Be Delayed
Micah Parsons is anticipated to return to practice with the Green Bay Packers shortly, although an NFL insider has indicated that his return to game action might be delayed. Parsons has been sidelined for the first eight games of the 2026 NFL season due to injury, impacting the team's defense.
James Palmer, speaking on Amazon Prime’s broadcast, noted that the Packers are taking a cautious approach with Parsons' recovery. Head coach Matt LaFleur mentioned that a decision regarding Parsons' practice return could be made early next week, with the team prioritizing his full readiness before he plays in a game.
While Parsons may begin practicing next week, it does not guarantee his participation in the Packers' upcoming game against the New England Patriots in Week 9. Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings is a potential target, but the team's bye in Week 11 could make a return against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12 more feasible. The Packers aim to have Parsons available as they push for a playoff spot.
