Micah Parsons to Miss Cowboys Game as He Focuses on Recovery
Micah Parsons will not participate in the upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys as he continues his recovery from a torn ACL. The Green Bay Packers edge rusher remains on the physically unable to perform list, with his practice window still closed.
Parsons, who underwent surgery in December 2025, stated that he is not focused on any revenge narrative regarding his former team. He emphasized the importance of being healthy rather than returning for a specific game. Coach Matt LaFleur mentioned that the team is awaiting medical clearance for Parsons, who is approximately 9½ months into his recovery.
The Packers, currently at 3-2, are coming off a win against the Bears, while the Cowboys sit at 2-3 after a loss to the Buccaneers. Parsons was traded to Green Bay in August 2025 and signed a significant contract extension. His return is anticipated in November, as the team prioritizes his long-term health over immediate participation.
