Micah Parsons to Miss First Four Games of 2026 NFL Season

Micah Parsons, a former standout linebacker at Penn State, will not participate in the first four games of the Green Bay Packers' 2026 season after being placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

Parsons sustained an ACL tear during the Packers' Week 15 loss to the Denver Broncos last season. He is expected to begin practicing ahead of the team's Week 5 game against the Chicago Bears, allowing him three weeks of practice without occupying a roster spot before he can be activated.

Parsons has indicated that he likely won't be ready to play until at least mid-October, emphasizing the importance of thorough rehabilitation to avoid complications. He aims to be available for the playoffs rather than rushing back for the early games of the season.
