Micah Parsons Will Not Return from Injury for Cowboys Game
Micah Parsons, a key player for the Green Bay Packers, has announced that he will not return from his ACL injury in time for the upcoming game against the Dallas Cowboys. This matchup is scheduled for Sunday night, with the Packers holding a 3-2 record and the Cowboys at 2-3.
Parsons suffered his ACL injury on December 14, 2025, and underwent surgery on December 29. Although he expressed a desire to play in Week 6 against his former team, he clarified on his podcast that he is prioritizing a full recovery over a rushed return. He noted that while he could technically play now, he wants to ensure all aspects of his health are addressed to avoid further injuries.
Despite speculation about his motivation to face the Cowboys, Parsons stated that his focus is solely on regaining his health rather than seeking revenge for his trade to the Packers in August 2025. He emphasized the importance of being fully fit rather than returning for a single game.
