Michael Brennan Ties for Lead at Wyndham Championship
Michael Brennan achieved a remarkable performance at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, N.C., shooting a 7-under-par 63 on Saturday. This score, bolstered by five birdies in the last eight holes, allowed him to tie for the lead with Beau Hossler, both sitting at 16-under 194 after three rounds.
Hossler, who had been the second-round leader, completed his round with a score of 66, despite facing two weather-related delays. Brennan's only bogey occurred on the second hole, but he quickly regained momentum. South Korea's Tom Kim also posted a 63, placing him third at 15 under.
Other notable scores included Alex Smalley and Alex Noren, both at 14 under, and Davis Thompson at 13 under. Nico Echavarria recorded the best score of the round with a 62, moving to 11 under. This tournament marks the end of the PGA Tour's regular season, with golfers aiming to secure a spot in the upcoming FedEx Cup playoffs.
